you need to have all the cooking utensils and of course a kitchen . you get the kitchen by asking gotz to make you one ( you'd have to pay him of course ) and the cooking utensils by calling from the bar certain days . you'd know what cooking utensils are available by watching the tv . recipes can be watched from the recipe channel every tuesday i think . if you want more recipes and can't wait then check out gamefaqs or gamewinners website for a list

When you have an upgraded house ( I think lvl 3)watch the shopping tv every saturday, then after watching it buy all things, clock, carpet until you go to the utensils, then after getting the utensils, befriend the villagers one by one, then they will give you recipes, or search for it in the library, watch the cooking show every tuesday, I'll give you a simple recipe:

you have to go to the house beside the wine cellar (sorry, i forgot the name of the house), and there's a phone on the right hand side. u can use the phone to buy items for ur kitchen. go to the library to find recepies.
