You knew for certain what was going to happen to you when you die....would it change your way of thinking, would it make you a better person?

Of course and the early leaders of the world figured that one out too. Why do you think they invented religion. Keep us in line and give us a reason to fight their wars. Our God's better than their God kinda thing. Religion is how the powerful keep the rest of us on our best behavior. The law is for those who aren't intimidated by God.

I love the callenge of life n it's surprises, small miracles n unexpected Cheers or tears. like this I have to adopt my self to many circumstances n that makes life FUN for me. so if I knew how my life was gonna end I'd still try to make some differences in between to cause the unexpeted things to happen cuz I think life's nothing n no FUN without surprises!
beign good is smple:
"to be good is to wake up every day n tell ur self I'm gonna be a better person today n be it!"
dont u think so? ...
CHEERS! :)

good question. thank u :)

If your supposition is that "If there is an afterlife..." would I be a better, nicer person?
No. I live myself by society's rules and by a common moral standard already.

Now, if I knew FOR CERTAIN, that there is nothing after this 'life':
well, I'd probally drive myself crazy trying to conceive that (I already mull it over waaaaay too much, now) and might just throw my "morals" out the bloody window.

I would like to answer no but I think that would be a lie. I am sure it would change my way of thinking. I am on the fence whether it would make me a better person. I think it would be important to include the happenings into equation to properly answer your question as difficult as it already is to answer.

No.I wouldn't change a thing. I am kind and considerate for reasons other than what's going to happen to me after I die. I like people. I also believe in the golden rule- Do unto others as you would have done unto you.

I have the feeling that ... not.

Every action I take is based on my better understanding at the time. Even, if looking back, it may seem to be a "mistake". But mistakes are made to be learned from. Nobody is born perfectly wise. And it would be sooooo boring.
