Gay only mean't happy about a century ago.
So if you mean "can you be happy and not homosexual?" then ofcourse.

But If you mean Gay as in homosexual and your really asking "can I be homosexual and not be a homosexual" then the answer is no. Because your asking if you can be something without being that same something. It's paradoxial.

Unless you mean "can I do homosexual activities and not be homosexual" then the answer would be yes, if you are straight. Since there are gay people living in denial and engaging in straight sex in straight marriage for instance. They are still considered homosexual, if they do come out.

Sexuality isn't like black and white. It's like a scale from entirely homosexual to entirely straight.

Your sexuality depends on who you want to be intamite with, not who you are or have been intimate with.

Hope thats helped

I was trying that. And it seemed obsequious to the rationale that I was implying explicitly to myself. Apparently the altrusistic ideology that I thought that I was having was actually parsimonious narcissistic bearing.

only if you're using the term "gay" to simply mean happy! otherwise, no! if you're gay, you're homosexual...same thing!
and I'd have to agree with a previous poster.....It's better to be a happy homosexual!

yes they can be bisexual if they so choose. But the root word homo=same, so if they are only attracted to the same sex then they must be homosexual, I think thats what you were asking.

Yes you can be gay (happy and jolly) without being homosexual. However, it's better to be a happy homosexual.
