Here are some useful tips that should answer your questions and provide more information.
Make love often during your fertile period (the five days leading up to ovulation). If you've got the stamina to make love at least every 48 hours, you will ensure that there's a fresh shipment of sperm waiting in the fallopian tube at any given time. (So it does not seem like making love multiple times a day will be any more helpful than making love once every 48 hours, because sperm will survive inside of the woman for about 2 days anyway).
However, this does not mean you should *not* make love frequently!
Try to keep sex fun when you're trying to conceive. Use rooms other than the bedroom or schedule your babymaking rendezvous for an odd time of day. The rationale? You won't be able to keep up the babymaking pace for very long if sex starts feeling like a chore.
Don't hop up and run to the bathroom right after you make love. Lying down for at least a few minutes (some fertility experts say five minutes) after intercourse increases the odds that the sperm will be able to keep their date with the awaiting egg and that you'll win at baby roulette.
Make your vaginal environment as sperm-friendly as possible. Avoid vaginal sprays and scented tampons (which can cause a pH imbalance in your vagina); artificial lubricants, vegetable oils, and glycerin (because they can kill off sperm); saliva (because saliva can also kill sperm); and douching (because it alters the normal acidity of the vagina; can cause vaginal infections and/or pelvic inflammatory disease; and may wash away the cervical mucus that is needed to transport the sperm).
Keep in mind that babymaking is a numbers game. Even if you do everything "right," you still have only a 25% to 30% chance of conceiving in any given cycle.

Are you sure you are ready to be a parent? Don't stress too much about conceiving, it usually happens when you are more relaxed. The dads sperm count is all important, several times a day will only depletes the count. His body needs time to replenish. More important than how many times per day ,is the day you choose. Some women can feel when they ovulate. I felt a pinching. Most women with a normal or regular 28 day cycle ( start counting on the first day of your period) on or about day 13 to 15 you should be fertile. After intercourse, elevate your hips with a pillow and rest for a while. This aids the sperm in their journey to find the waiting egg, which is traveling toward the uterus. If the two unite, the egg will embed in the uterine wall, and you are on your way. (and your life will never be the same again!) Of course , practice does make perfect..so they say.

There is no need to do it more than once a day. If you really want to try and conceive, have sex once a day too give time for him to get "fresh" and time for him to produce more sperm.

I just want to say that your husband or wife must be loving this question so bravo whoever you are for trying. now the bad news: your odds don't go up each time you have sex, because the sperm count will continue to decrease each time. but god bless you for trying so vigilantly.

It actually depends on when you're most fertile. and how much sperm the male has. (ex. low sperm count)
YOu should keep track of your fertility and whatnot. Look up information on the internet and there's also books out there to help.

Sex once a day should be suffecient, but if your partner has a low sperm count it is best to try every other day.
