Yes, and we must be willing to sacrifice.
It costs a lot of Penney's to send our Old Navy airplanes to bomb some Banana Republic.

It is flawed logic, at the very least, to suggest that one prevents the other. Actual terrorists aren't tied to any specific geographic location, and no amount of combat in any particular place is going to have any lasting effect.
Moreover, the argument that we have to "fight them over there" assumes that terrorism is a "them," and that if we can get rid of "them," the problem will go away. In fact, terrorism is and idea and a tactic, and thus the only real victory will be the victory won in hearts and minds, not on the field of combat.

There are some who say the style of recent Muslim terrorist attacks is justification for projecting the photograph that each one Muslims are terrorists, because lifelike Muslims have not finished more beneficial to "purge their ranks". i locate it humorous those similar human beings are revolted at the same time as all Catholics and Christians are labeled pedophiles because of way a number of their monks behave. lifelike Catholics ought to no longer were doing a lot to "purge their ranks", because it style of sounds like once another year a clean tale pops up in the information about some bishop terrorizing yet another altar boy's sphincter. A pedophiles in the Catholic hierarchy does no longer make ALL Catholics and Christians pedophiles, yet some Muslim terrorists makes all Muslims terrorists? Contradictory at best, yet more beneficial likely to be basically hypocritical or worse. If non secular human beings weren't sturdy at rationalizing the irrational, they would not be non secular.

Yes, though Military is a serious training that is deficient in too many territories. Sending any to foreign territories is for economic and resource protection, including the resource of population. There takes real intelligence and etiquette for the absence of corrupting ground in any skirmish, battle, warring, or social club at the mall.

Hey, Smorb, four cells below, where'd you hear that? "flawed logic" is a cliche. Logic is either defined or not applicable in the context. Congratulations on the top points. Your compilations are surely appreciated by the guys that worked and gave thought to the very well written representations of original verbal communication by those that rarely have time to write, unless they are hostages.

Well, if the USA would stop interfering in every-ones business and acting like a global policeman nobody will interfere in yours. REMEMBER that bin laden himself is a US creation to fight the soviets in Afghanistan. Stop blaming everybody for your failures.

It's very common war time rhetoric once surfaced in Vietnam war too. 'If we don't fight communists there we'll be fighting them in our back yard.' Or something like that.

Hopefully they won't put up that 50 year old 'duck and cover' music video when Iran announce their nuke test or something.

Isn't it enough for American citizens and legal residents being terrorized by the Illegal Aliens' Movement and Seige to take hold of our nation and our laws? Hey, they are planning a May 1 to form a human chain around our INS Building to provoke a Civil War. Perhaps, all Americans and legal residents, who cherish the American Immigration laws, head to DC on May 1 to let them understand that we, upholders of the American Immigration Laws, are larger in number? Let them understand that enough is enough! We will no longer tolerate any illegals and their cohorts who tinker in drugs and drug deals to corrupt our American politicians to destroy our American kids and youths. Tell them to take back their Meth and drugs across the borders to their points of origin. Who dares say that the rise in illegal drug narcotics in the US is not associated with the increase of illegal aliens over here?

There are times I do wonder if the food served in some of the restaurants are not injected with these illegal stuffs to get Americans hooked to them!! :-(

The term 'terrorist' can be associated with anyone plotting to destroy America and disrupt American way of life and to instill fear and tension among us... and it doesn't have to be by way of explosions and bombs.
