Yes, it is called "good parenting". Do not allow young children access without your supervision. Also talk to your children, look at the history. Plug into your children and they won't suffer from your laziness.

I use the content adviser, you set a password that only you or your partner will know, so when the kids are surfing, a little window appears, which needs your password to enter the site/web page, if you don't like the look of the web site, you don't put your password in, its as simple as that, of course if the site is OK, put your password in, and content adviser will remember this, so if the kids go back on an allowed web site you will not get the pop up, the kids might not like it but at least when my kids go onto a site and content adviser kicks in you are there to either allow it or not

Yes, this can be done by creating a personal profile for each child or by creating one profile for the children(you can only create up to four profiles (maybe five, but no more). I would recommend creating a profile for all of the children. This is done by using your master profile and adding another profile , which would show on the start up screen as well as your profile. the profile can be filtered and configured by you to access as many or as little sites as you wish it also protects them from accessing every area of your computer. You would have to talk to an expert to find out excatly how this is done, but it can be done sucessfully without the use of a program.

Ok, Do this on your computer, Click on start, go to settings, go to control panel, go to Internet options, click on the Security tab at the top, click on the Restricted Sites Button, click on the sites button right underneath the Resricted Sites button, and then put in the sites you dont want your kids in, click close, click apply, click ok, and you are done!

Hope i helped,

In your Internet Explorer under tools and internet options, go to the content tab and click on Content Advisor, you can adjust the settings in there. It is not 100% safe but it is better then nothing.

Agreed with the previous suggestions.
You may think it's "evil" to keep watch on the kids all the time. But it'd be even more cruel if you let them free be exposed to unethical products of the internet.

What internet browser are you using?

If using Internet Explorer, the you need to set the Content Advisor's settings!

And you can set the allowed sites also.

Er...don't let them on!!!? I'm sorry, but that is the only answer I can think off. Think you will have to put a parental lock on but not having kids young enough to worry about, I don't even have any idea how to do that. Good luck....
