My grandparents recently moved to Lousiana and I'm afraid to go visit them. I don't wanna get tricked into eating possum.

I've been to Louisiana about a zillion times. Never got tricked into eating possum once.

Oh stop. Even if you do get tricked into eating it, you might like it.
I live in Texas and I got tricked into eating snake.
I almost threw up when I found out that it was snake, but needless to say, I kinda liked it.

my hubby has been there quite a few times as an over the road truck driver and as far as we know he has not eaten any. but even if they trick you into it you won't know till its over and if you don't like it you can go throw it up. and if you do then eat more. the only thing he ate there that i wont is craw-fish. wick we in Kansas call crawdads and craw-fish are the same thing. he says it tastes kinda like lobster but i think he is just saying it to get me to try it!!
