My bass guitar broke and i called musiciansfriend.com and they would not replace because it was out of warranty by 2 months. this breakage was not my fault as the volume nob twisted off the internal wiring broke and the amplifier broke all two months after warranty what should i do.

If its internal wiring and the Pot (volume knob) then you can fix it yourself cheaply and somewhat easily. Look on the internet for a wiring diagram for your specific bass. If I knew the bass model, I'd give you a hand. I've built several basses and wiring is sometimes a complex thing. If you're not comfortable with it, then you can print off the diagram and take it to your local Radio Shack. The employees there are very helpful and can probably help you along or even do it for you for a small fee, as long as its just the electronics. Guitar Center is also a help.
