I am a new Ebay user and today I won an Item I made a bid on. Is there a specific time I need to pay for the item? I plan to make a payment by Saturday or Sunday. The seller did not request a specific time she would like to receive the payment so I am guessing it's okay to pay by this weekend.

PAYMENT IS GENERALLY EXPECTED TO BE SENT QUICKLY. YOU GOT AN E-MAIL FROM E-BAY WITH A BUTTON THAT SAYS "PAY NOW" WHICH WILL BEGIN A DIALOG WITH THE SELLER. YOU CAN ALSO "CONTACT SELLER" SAYING YOU'LL BE SENDING PAYMENT (CHECK, MONEY ORDER) ON WHAT EVER DAY. DON'T BE VAGUE. REMEMBER THAT E-BAY MEMBERS POST FEEDBACK. IF YOU ARE CASUAL ABOUT PAYING, THAT MAY REFLECT IN THE SELLER'S FEEDBACK.YOU IN RETURN WILL BE ABLE TO POST FEEDBACK ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE SELLER. HOW QUICKLY IT WAS SHIPPED, WAS IT AS DESCRIBED ETC. UNFORTUNATELY THE FEEDBACK ISN'T ALWAYS HONEST. IF YOU PAY RIGHT AWAY, YET THE ITEM TOOK A LONG TIME TO ARRIVE AND YOU POST THAT, THE SELLER CAN BE SPITEFUL. IT'S A FLAWED SYSTEM AND SHOULD BE TAKEN WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.

In your won section, next to the item you won is a drop down box, click on contact seller and just send them a message saying when you will be paying.Just be careful as some sellers stipulate a time that payment must be paid. I never bid unless the money is in my account to pay on the day auction ends .
happy ebaying

Yeah, just contact the seller and tell them they should be getting their payment this weekend. Don't forget to ask for positive feedback if you intend on using ebay more often, it always helps.
