If you bought the car new this service should be done by the people where you purchased the car. Many garages offer a pre-mot examination where they will check all of the things you referred to. If you use the kwik-fit type of garage they will do the work if you ask for a full service. I should imagine on a car that is less than twelve months old you wont need anything major done apart from checking oil, brakes etc. It is worth checking with the people you bought the car from though. The price does not normally include any extras like oil, spark plugs etc., you would have to pay for that. They will put the oil and spark plugs in for you should they need it.

The oil and filter is the only thing replaced on every service. Coolant, plugs, air filter etc are changed at specific mileage/date intervals. It will depend on what your make/model requires at this service. They will do it all if you want, but the more they do the more it will cost. No point spending money replacing things that aren't needed yet.

DIY. Saves pounds - plus i comprehend that there is a high quality oil in there and not some rubbish i'm getting ripped off over. Oil is something that meets the SAE specs, and is the splendid grade for the automobile. that's what's counseled interior the handbook, so style is all the way down to you and your pocket. lots greater advantageous to alter greater low-value oils greater usually, than good oils much less usually. Oil filters utilized by ability of many garages are as inexpensive as they'd get. it is not of their interest to have stable autos is it? i purchase OE filters online. they DO make a distinction - and are reasonably priced. old oil is returned to a council run recycling centre.

it really depends on what type of service you ask for. you can have a full service which will include all the things you list or an intermediate service. ask at the garage to what each service includes. should you get it done? it depends on when the last service was done really. if your not sure then ask a mechanic to look at it and he should get an idea. in general take out the dipstick and see how clean the oil is. its a real minefield out there so be careful. ask friends and family where they go and get opinions on different places...hope this helps...

You should expect oil, oil filter to be changed. Other things inspected and changed only if faulty. You probably won't get the manufacturers specified service, but the brakes, steering, transmission oil should all be looked at. Why not ask what you get before booking the service?

They will changed th oil and filter, with cheap ones of course, then charge you an arm and a leg, most places like this dont change anything, and if they do they charge you %300 a markup price compared to when you can buy the parts yourself.

depends on which type of service u go for interim or full. Both of them should incluce oil change but not coolant. Best think is to give them a quick call and ask them.

A good kwik fix shop should let you know what all the fixes will cost before work is done. Remember, the shop is there to make money. If you keep yourself informed about your car and what was done before, you can keep from having work done before its time, or too many times.

Kwick fit will do this as standard but be sure to ask them first. If your unsure its allways best to take it to the proper dealer. Me i wont let them near my car after seeing reports on the tv of bad workmanship good luck.
