I go into chat rooms normally age grouped and get to know people from around the world. It takes a while to get to know people, some are the type you stay away from, but most are nice people. Just go to one room and stay there for a few days, watch and listen. Then start talking to some. Tell them that your new. After a while you can visit different rooms and get to know other people. Most people tend to stay in one room on most occasions. Try yahoo messenger, MSN chat
