It requires College Algebra as a prerequisite. I took College Algebra in 1991 and received a "B". My question is this. Would I be a bit over my head in Finite Math without having any Algebra for 16 years? Would I be wise to at least get my hands on an old College Algebra book and do some serious review before I attempt a Finite Math class?

suggestion ... look at the algebra questions on here and put in some replies concentrating on explaining clearly ... it will really help someone who is having trouble in that area, and if you can explain something clearly it gives you confidence that you know yourself .... and if you see you differ from other answers you can spot new techniques, or any errors in thinking ... this way you can dive in and out as suits your adult lifestyle.
of course it should be better going through a coursebook, but you may find that you spend disproportionate time on some things that aren't explained the right way for you that you might never need, and I am not sure how disciplined an adult can be with a settled lifestyle, claims of children etc ... the business management may be enough formal study for your patience anyway.
algebra and finite math for your purposes can largely be treated as cookery ... some basic rules about how to shuffle expressions around to resemble things you have done before, and spotting standard solutions. I think sometimes people are disabled by well meaning (but maybe wrong tutors) that require you do x by method y. Its a bit like an excel course I saw where it marked you as wrong if you selected something by mouse when it expected you do go through menu system!
