Funny! We "Americans" are so into celebrities, if all that focus was geared on real role models... Instead its really popular right now to act & be dumb. All the money in the world, and it seems like they just buy over sized handbags to pack all there money in. They just keep swelling up from the lips, down.
All girls aren't this way...

Ok, so I'm Canadian, so I'll answer anyway.
No one really liked her until the Newlyweds show came out. She wasn't all that famous before, and now her fame is kind of dying down, seeing as how she's not famous for her singing or acting, which both suck.
I actually sorta like her. I think she has a cute, honest, down-to-earth personality, which is so rare in hollywood. I do think she's pretty dumb though, but what famous person isn't these days. They're all famous for the scandals their invovled in rather than their actual talent anyways.

I don't think Americans ever truely liked Jessica Simpson......she was an inereting charactor.

I'm an American...and I honestly have no idea who she is. But then, what I watch on television is often considered boring to younger people....gardening, cooking shows, home improvement and such...LOL
