Your feeling of love took over your life and your love was decayed because you let the love take over your life. Your love was your decay could also mean that you smothered your love so strongly that his/her love was decayed by the fact that you showed too much love.

I was so obsessed with love,it decayed my perception I had for finding anything else. My expectations were too high, You would never return my love, so my love rotted, unable to be born anew for another,.........sad
