Are blacks still just slaves? Slaves to the judicial system. We throw them in ghettos, aren't they the same as plantation houses? Freedom to not have to work the field, but is it true freedom?

No, they're very much free. They now have many resources to get out of the ghettos but have yet to use them.

you bring up an important point. I've read that there is a question out there wondering whether our fight today is against a race issue or a class issue. Some wonder that if we address the class issue, making it easier for people of the lower class to move up, then the race issue will also be positively affected.
I read a book recently called, Being Black, Living in Red. It talked about how the issue in America is that the poor are getting poorer- which affects many African-Americans. But, it does make the point that thoe African Americans that break through to the middle class are actually doing fine and getting better and better. The issue is how to help more to break through- how to help the poor. We need to find a way to make life more fair for the poor.

Also the judicial system is a crock. My wife and I don't disagree with the death penalty in theory, but want it abolished b/c of the sheer number of African-Americans they use it on. That is not fair!!! and WRong!!!

I wish but unfortunately they are not all in cages. Most of them are polluting the land outside of cages. They could serve some useful purposes since they are not needed as defective cotton pickers anymore. What about keeping them in Zoo's for the kiddies to watch and learn from? Medical experiments? What about hanging games and target shooting or feeding them to sharks and gators?

Everyone has a choice, no matter what kind of melanin they have. Whether they want to get a job and move out of the ghetto is up to them.

no, slavery is not over.many are kidnapped from their own coutries and sold as sex slaves or as cheap labor to other countries. If you had watched cspann tonight, you would have seen a portion of a program talking about it.
