"As the pressure built up, Nixon's adamant refusal to let any of his aides testify before Ervin's committee became untenable. Hardly a legal scholar could be found to support this unheard-of claim of unqualified Executive privilege. Republican Senators began protesting just as vigorously as Nixon's Democratic critics. The President's brief and bland denials of White House involvement no longer satisfied anyone.

Finally, last week, Nixon spoke up...........

Looking tense and haggard, Nixon announced that all members of his staff will, after all, appear voluntarily before Ervin's committee ..." Time, April 30, 1973

Yes, how we are playing with Iran is like the repeating of 1939 appeasement of Germany. Let's appease them and start another World War. Real smart.

He should resign like Nixon as well! He is a far worse president!

Cuts Veterans Hospitals 2 times, but gives the rich a tax cut 2 times. Never in the history of this country has that happened! Only Bush!

Of course history will repeat itself if the US public remains ignorant and dependent on the mass media to get their information. The aides should testify, under oath and in court. Not behind closed doors. These people are public servants. I, for one, as a taxpayer, would like to hear what they have to say. The only reason I can think of that Bush does not want this testimony heard is because he is fearful of what will be exposed. Bush needs to resign.
