It's so strange, pregnancy! With my first one, I had morning sickness terribly the whole first trimester, and then it stopped, like magic. This time, I am having a boy again, but the pregnancy has been totally different. I have not been sick until now (22 1/2 weeks) and it's been terrible the last couple of nights. I have had the same kind of flu-ey feelings. And remember, morning sickness can happen any time of day and will be different at various stages of the pregnancy. Last but not least--like everyone has said--just talk to your OB about it. That's always the best way to go!

It's flu season!!!
I am also 23 weeks pregnant and the last few days have been very ill with the stomach flu. It's awful, it almost feels worse when you're pregnant because all your inside bits are being moved and squished. I was miserable. Make sure you keep your fluids up (so you don't start contracting, I made that mistake), keep your temperature below 102 and rest as much as you can. Of course as always if your gut tells you something might be wrong, get checked out.
Take Care and good luck!!

My morning sickness happened during the entire 2nd trimester, and into the 3rd. Morning sickness can happen at any stage.
You might want to try to eat more roughage to help food move through your system faster. Pregnancy hormones make the digestive tract slower, and that causes nausea and upset stomach. Try eating an apple, or cucumber.
It could also be your prenatal vitamins.
Your obgyn can prescribe some meds to help you.

I'm afraid its all part of the fun of being pregnant hun. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and I cant wait till its all over just for the simple fact that I have caught every bug going around. The fact that we are not allowed to take anything to make us better doesn't help lol. You will be fine just drink plenty of water to flush it out and speak to your midwife if your concerned that is what they are there for.
Chin up its all worth it in the end x

At the moment, the baby is growing and pushing all your digestive system out of the way. That can make eating uncomfortable. With any luck, it will settle down in a day or two. Just try to eat little and often.

pregnancy does weird things to our bodies the old saying morning sickness is utter rubbish it should in some cases be called all day sickness, as it affects different women in different ways, it sound like normal sickness but why dont you just mention it to your midwife who would be able to advice you more. Good luck .

Sweetie, NOTHING ever feels normal when you're pregnant. Welcome to mommyhood! Things will come and go; you'll feel one way for a week or two and then completely different for another week or two. No worries, just normalcy!
However, if you are truly worried, then don't feel ashamed to talk to your OB/midwife! Trust me, they've heard EVERYTHING and won't shun you for seeking their advice or support.
Congrats and I wish you the very, very best!
