This has happened to me and my husband, we used to sell a lot of things on eBay and made quite good money for a while, as I remember all we did was send them all the information they needed, it took quite a while to get it all sorted out, PayPal take their time!! But it did get sorted out, they are a multinational company, they won't be wanting to take your money, they just make sure that you get it and nobody else does.

From what I know about paypal (member for 8 years now) and some of the things that are going around is that they are wantintg to make sure this is not a fraudulant deal. There has been alot of transactions with the UK that did not come through due to it being completely a bogus deal. What I would do if it was me is I would call paypal and ask them what is going on, they will explain it to you and work with you to get the matter resolved.

Limiting the account happens mostly when the IP location of the user is uspected. It might be that you could have used to access Paypal via a Proxy server or any Anon Ips which they detected as possible fraud . So just redo the things they have listed for removing the limited access and it normally gets lifted within 3-5 days of sending the fax. REMEMBER to send the CODE which is sent to you inthe form coz automated system reads the code and then processes the form further.
there is nothing to worry as per the description given by you. Cheer up and follow what they asked for.

It's been my experience that once your account is limited, the limitations will never be lifted and your money is basically stuck. Paypal is becoming very strict and is a big pain in the @ss. They say these limitations are for your own security...i think that's bs. Sorry. I feel for you, it sucks.

This is very common problem with paypal. At least they agreed to open an account in your name, but in my case they refused to open. Hence I shifted to "western union". There may be other reasons also, like minimum balance, to check the origin of money etc., What ever may be the reason, money is money whether it is 98 pound or less or more. It is your money. Ask them to return your money, in writing, even you can ask them to close your account and return the money accumulated in your account. They have no reason to refuse. Make sure to keep one copy of all your correspondence made with them. Keep it safe.
