Americans can't live up to the standard anymore.
This is a gluttonous country, no one believes in commitment anymore.

The media does not truthfully portray things. They blow things out of proportion to make money. Most Americans do not lead the lives you see in the movies or on TV.

I don't know wherther that's true or not, but I'll say I think there's a lot more of divorce these days becuase of people rushing to get married when they really don't know what they're getting into.
