Both. If the feeling is mutual, hold on, if not, let go.

Love is always a two-way traffic. Receiprocity is the magic word.

How about letting go of the fact that you have been too scared to hold on?

I feel like it is both, Jesus had the best description that I have ever read, its in the book of Matthew.

Love is patient, love is kind, etc.

As far as romance, love is what you show you your partner, and accept from him as love. Love is doing things for him to make him happy, even though it might inconvenience you in some way or another. Love is not sex, love is a commitment to him that you have him in mind when you make choices during the day by doing the dishes so he doesn't have to, showing kindness, acts of mercy to almost anyone, etc.

Love has several meanings. It could be being there for someone, helping someone in need out.

To answer your question though, out of the two, I would say letting go. If you really loved someone, you would let them go to the person they love, even if that person wasn't you.

it can be classified as both. for example, if u have someone that ur close with that lets say has cancer, and may die....u wanna hold on to them caus eu love them sooooo much, but at the same time, i sorta wanna let go, cause itl take them out of their misery. thats the way i look at it. but on the romantic evel, thats difficult, cause ive never really been in that position
