The big sneezing you might have to say "excuse me". Usually people don't mind if it's a little sneeze.

I say "excuse me" when I sneeze and I'm talking to someone or in an area with people just to be polite :) so I think it's acceptable... :o)

Of course not! When i sneeze, I expect someone to say bless you, not for me to say excuse me. but hey, that's just where I'm from I guess.

i don't say excuse me after any sneeze! its not like you do it on purpose and you cant make it silent. i assume others are supposed to say bless you, its what i do when i hear someone sneeze.

It's not common here to say anything. We just sneeze holding our hand or handkerchief. When another person is standing very near than we say "sorry".

I don't know but I think it's ridiculous to apologize for sneezing. Yawning, sneezing and pissing are natural body functions you shouldn't have to apologize for.

But expecting "Excuse me" from a person who is suffering from bad cold or allergy is inhuman, isn't it guys.

I think it would be more appropriate for the people around you to say "BLESS YOU" rather than worry about apologising for an involuntary act.
