I notice that when I'm on some medications, my thoughts are really slow. But I can't stand the side effects of course. Is there anyway to train my thoughts to stop racing with out taking meds?

Please...whatever you do, go to this website, take the test(s)... just in case you think I may be trying to come across "religious" which I have no problem doing!!! ...but the "name" of the website may make you "think" this...lol...
AMENCLINIC.COM, (Amen is the doctors name) if you visit this website, go to the bottom of the page and it will take you to "tests"...(this is free...a professional will cost you 120 to 140 bucks for the same thing... Because I have done the same thing this will be a wild guess for me... Have you ever been checked for ADD or ADHD?... First test (multiple choice) @ 72-73 questions. If you show positive it will take you to a second test. There are at least 6 different "types" of ADD. The second which consists of @ 123 questions (also multiple choice) and this test will tell you "what type" you have. I NO longer take anti-depressants, I do not have panic attacks or anxiety attacks either...hmm.. sound familiar?... I am 43 and I only found this out two years ago. All those years of suffering!!!... Life is a BEACH now!!! lol....check it out...may not be but worth the "free" trip!!!

Yes. You can create a mantra, a phrase that is calming and that you can identify with and when your thoughts are racing, repeat this mantra aloud over and over until you are calm.

It could be like"May I be at peace within, one with the universe and its energies, and in harmony with the earth and mankind."
