My husband was 19 when I met him and I was 16..... we got pregnant and married at 17 and 20 (so be careful!!!!) It can be illegal in some cases if an intimate relationship develops.

Question is--would a 19 yr old girl go for a 19 yr old guy?
Lots of guys that age are either sophomores in college (that's where we get the word "sophomoric", which the dictionary says means " conceited and overconfident of knowledge but poorly informed and immature") or have low experience+ low paying jobs.
But to a 17 year old that looks very cool and impressive (he has a job, maybe an apartment of his own, goes where he wants without asking for permission).
So sure a 19 year old would go for a 17 year old girl. But where will he take her?

Yes but doing so would technically be illegal. Lets say this 19 year old guy got you pregnant on accident and your parents were pissed...they could go to the authorities and press charges against him because you're still a minor. That aside, of course a 19 year old would go for a 17 year old. It wouldn't be smart on his part but that's life.

I don't know why everyone on this forum seems to be condoning this. It's inappropriate for a 19-year-old to lust for someone who is not of age simply because legal issues. Despite the small age gap, it's still considered pedophilia if the 19-year-old were to make any sexual advancements on the younger person. It would be considered statitory rape, which could land him jail time if caught.

Depends on the guy and the girl. I am 20 and am dating a 25 year old so most guys are not bothered by the younger girl thing. All depends on how mature he is and how mature she is.

My god, yes! That young stuff is where it's at, and it's all we want. Once a girl hits 20, her juicy bits are no longer interesting to us. I'm 87, and my girlfriend is 17. I'm going to trade her in for something new sometime in the fall.

Sure, why not?? It's a very good age diferent.. Just imagine, my girlfriend is older than me! But we are still going on cause we love each other and it comes down from our heart. That is the only key to a good, and well relationship no mather the age diference is.. Good luck :)

it is only two years but remember 19 is considered an adult and 17 is not. he is older so just be careful
