One of my best friends penelope Just moved to my school.and since shes here everyone is treating me differently.And everybody doesnt like her.Except some girls.Well I heard someone say that my crush likes her but i dont know what to think.right now im in spring break and i just went to her house for a sleepover and it was nothing but boring.all she did was get mad at me for little things.Since my real best friends stephanie doesnt like her We cant hang out together but i want to hang out with stephanie and not penelope and my other friends.But penelope wont let me.What should i do im afraid of loosing friends

A true friend wouldn't make you choose or say who your friends should be, if Penelope is putting this much strain on you then she really isn't a friend, you have to decide do you feel good, happy, etc. around Penelope, or Stephanie? just by what you've written it sounds to me that Stephanie is a good friend, if you want to hang out with, remember a friend wouldn't make you choose, a friend would be there for you & care about you no matter who you hang out with. also about your feellings too! just do what feels right to you! good friends are hard to come by! You are at the point in life where you will soon define yourself. If you allow other peoples judgement to affect you dignity than you will turn out to be a bottom feeder. You must do what you believe is right because you want to, not because you care what someone else will think. A good friend would respect your choice to befriend whomever you wish. Talk to them about how you feel. Be open and honest is one of the best virtues you can ever attain. Not to mention it will make you life incredible easier and less drama filled.

Penelope doesn't run your life....you do. She doesn't have the right to tell you who you can be friends with. If you still want to hang out with Stephanie sometimes, do it without your other friends around.

well let me see penelope wont let u do what? I mean u r free to do as much as u want and tlak to who ere u want (unless ur parents tell u the opposite) so... i think u need to be real to urself and consider that u got lots of friends who need ur company and u r haging out with someone who tells u what to do and she is not even ur mom ( what would u do if ur parents tell u no to hang out whit ur friends? u will be mad at them and fight with them and all kids of stuff bcuz u will defend ur friendship right? so why r u doing what this girl is telling u?)

She sounds clingy. She will be acing this way because she is new at your school and doesn't know anyone and was probably thinking that you two would be just as close as you were prior to her coming to your school.
Also, she may be behaving badly because she's not use to sharing you with other people. You will have to pull back and make her realise that you have other friends and that she needs to be more mature and deal with it, or, she will need to make other friends.

there is somethIn about her and from what you said you do not care much of her to. do have any thing ing common with her if she likes your crush and you told her she is not respecting you and there is something some one is not telling you stick around you will find out yourself
