Please!! I am sooooo gone if i dont get sum good answers cause i got this history assesment task due tomorrow and i seriously gotta get it done. Plz help!! If u dont know about women wat about Aboriginals or Immigrants!?!?

Well, for starters, we are now allowed to have a voice in this country and vote in elections. We can hold high positions, in business etc. even be prime minister if we wanted to.
We are no longer expected to be mothers and wives but can be career women and mothers combined. We have equal pay, equal rights and cannot be discriminated against on the basis of our sex.
The pill did a lot for our freedom as well - we are free to have sex and be safe in the knowledge that we control our fertility. Abortion is no longer illegal and we have free access to medical attention.
We have free and equal access to education, early to mid 20th century we weren;t allowed to go to uni!! Can you believe it. Our high schooling is no longerbased on the principle of domestic issues or home economics.
Thats all i can think of off the top of my head, but it should be a start!

i have just finished a report on this,


Women have been given better roles in life, they are no longer seen solely as a wife and mother who must only be seen and not heard.
Many women are no longer pressured into marrige.
