How do I play the Mission Mode game???????? Please!!!!!!! HOW???!!!!!!!

The Missions work in the background. By defeating the neccessary characters with the character it tells you...you complete the mission. You play regularly and if you beat one of the characters on the list with the character it tells you to use, you get that much closer to completing the mission. There are really no mission modes, they are more like goals furthering your experience and expanding you character selection that you can use.
