My supervisor just informed me that he can bring either me or my friend to the movie preview that is sponsored by the company. Since my friend is not free, i am able to go. But... the problem is should i go? My friend also advice me to be careful as our supervisor is a guy... I think it's absurd, but still... i'm so confused...

if it wouldnt further your carreer and you are nervous about it dont go. if you do go, carry some pepper spray and a voice activated tape recorder to protect yourself and your interests. enjoy the show.

erm..i think its better to be careful...
but it's foc..why not??
maybe ask another friend along(a trustable guy fren?), pay for another ticket..pay half of the price for him/her..he/she might be more willing to go..
if you cant find any frens to go along with you,make sure you and your supervisor are not alone at all times..
if you feel insecure and uncomfortable in anyway, leave.

go and take a friend with u talk to ur superviser and tell him that u r bringing a friend it is a buzz meeating and u should protect urself from all those crazy bosses

I think your friend is jealous you get to go and you cant
Im assuming your a girl so just make sure you dont let anything sexual happen :)
