I am planning to go online with my gaming, and am torn between getting Xbox Live on my 360 or World of Warcraft on my PC.
With Xbox Live I would be able to play Halo, Gears of War and several other games online against anyone in the world.
With World of Warcraft, I'll have a single, but great, game to play on and on and on.
Any help would be appreciated.
BTW: I cannot get both. At least not currently. I can only pick one and give up on the other until I can afford ANOTHER monthly subscription fee.

Seriously, take it from me man, Go with XBOX Live. Stay away from the WOW. Yes it is a great game, but at least with X there is a start and a finish, and less temptation to waste weeks on end playing. If youve played WOW, you know what I mean. It is a life waster, becasue it is so addicting and it NEVER ENDS, no matter how much you play! So with XBOX, you can have a gaming life AND a real life!

I would personally choose WoW. I've been playing it for a while now, and I'm still not bored with it. Of course, if you ever do get bored of it, you can always take a break, then come back, and your character will more than likely still be there. :]
The thing I love most about it is that it doesn't end, and since the expansion recently came out, there's even more things to do, and more fun to be had :D

My suggestion could be carry off going decrease back to WoW until eventually you have had a gamble to objective MW2. besides the shown fact that while you're at present feeling burned out from XBL then perhaps you ought to circulate forward and make the leap. Play WoW for a month or 2 and then come decrease back once you lose interest over there.

XBoX Live, if only for the diversity. There is only so much WoW you can play before getting bored...but with XBoX live you can play different games for the different moods you are in.

I am an avid gamer! And since I started playing World of Warcraft, I simply cannot look at another game the same way.
Since there is no "end" of World of Warcraft you cant get to the end and wish you bought something else. I will choose World of Warcraft over any other game.

I prefer diversity too, something I get with Guild Wars on the PC. Your best bet is XBOX LIve!

well IMHO (in my honest opinion), i would say get Xbox live. but i will list factors of each choice.
Xboxlive,
+Many more games for one subscription, different types of genres
Wow,
+Same game over and over, you might get bored, when new
But for both, the systems and teh gaems will get old, and you will move on. so in the long term..it doesnt really matter...idealy u can switch around, one month of xbox live, another month for WoW
