Back in the day...shaking a polaroid picture helped it to dry.
But in the "answers" section on the Polaroid Web site, and in response to the Outkast song, the company says that shaking photos is not necessary since the modern version of Polaroid film dries behind a clear plastic window. According to the Urban Dictionary, the definition of Polaroid as per the song says it is an example of how vigorously a female should shake her backside. It refers to the act of shaking or waving an as-yet undeveloped Polaroid (R) picture in order to have it develop faster. So, NO I do not shake it like a Polaroid picture.
