I would suggest selling online.
I have made sometimes an extra $2000 a month selling our old stuff on eBay.
The extra money felt good, and so did getting rid of the clutter!

Very sad. With disability. But proud about your ambition to earn for a living by good meaning. As you said yo are getting disability benefits, but half of it is going towards rent. Why cant you get a permanent job. I think all Countries have made it mandatory, that certain percentage of posts should be reserved for disable persons, In India we have this law. Try to have your own small Business setup. Banks are expected to give loan at very low interest for disabled., try this. Even Private Companies will reserve some jobs, and nature of job is depend upon your Physical conditions. This assures a permanent income. Be mentally strong, get more will power. Wish you good luck.

Do you get food stamps? That will help for the food you need. If you don't please aply for them, at your local DSHS office. Also, in your area, please check with the DSHS office again, for a list of subsidized housing, apts., would be the best since you are single. They should have some kind of federally subsidized apts. in your area, and they base the rent on 30% of your income. Or, public housing in your area, for a one bedroom, or studio apt. Please, don't get into selling drugs, or your body. Also, please see if you have a friend, or someone that could help you with your monthly budget. I find that if and when I write down my monthly budget at the beginning of the month, deduct rent, cleaning supplies, bills, what I have left over (not much, but some) I put that to food, and laundry-washing, drying. As for the bill collectors, if you find that after your needs are met, that you can even send them $1.00, please do so. If not, don 't worry about it. Also, for your electric/propane/gas bill for heat, etc., is there an Energy Assistance office in a twon in your area? March is usually the last month for this federal subsidy for low income households. You might see about that to help with your heat/electric bills. Is there a food bank in your area? Usually you can go like twice a month to get food there. You probably will need something (a bill) showing your current address. Or is there a church in your area that may have a food bank? I know of one in my area, that they give food to the homeless, so you don't Need to "prove" you live in the area. Are you able to work part time? Sometimes? Could you handle having a roommate to help share the rent and expenses each month? And the household chores? To get started, please call your local DSHS office to get information, or call if your area has one, a local crisis care phone line, to get informaiton for assistance. I wish you the best. Take care.

Another alternative is to baby sit for yr neighbours or may be take some one`s pet dogs for a walk.

I have found several legitimate work at home sites so far, and I made $900+ in December, $700+ in January, over $850 last month, and $1,500+ so far in March. All these sites are are free to join.
Please click my screen name or avatar for more information and a link for proof of payment.
And by the way--never join a work at home program that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.

Can a temporary job so that your job changes once in awhile and you won't get bored with it.
Alternatively, you can beg on the streets.
