It is because Mozilla is open source. If you want to have some feature in Mozilla, you can write your own add-on.
While on the other hand, IE is solely held by Microsoft Corporation, and Microsoft corporation releases some patches/updates for Internet explorer time to time.

Mozilla, needs the add on's, IE was made to do what it does. Mozilla, needs to keep adding stuff to make it work. By the time you have everything you need in moz, its such a memory hog its not worth the bother....
IE is way better then Moz. Its the people that don't know how to use IE that think Moz is better... Like Linux, People say its soo cool. Only because of two reasons, 1 They can't afford windows, 2, they don't know how to use windows.
