I had my period for a week and then I went a week without it... Then all of a sudden another period starts...last about a 4days. I have had the marina IUD for about 8 months and never had this happen. I don't know if this is normal. PLZ help

I would get it checked out, because you've never had any bleeding up to this point. I had the Mirena IUD in for 6 months and bled the whole time. I was told by my OB/GYN that it's normal to have bleeding randomly for up to a year, but it turned out the IUD had slipped and gotten lodged sideways in my cervix.
But because you have had it for so long without problems you may want to be sure it hasn't slipped down into your cervix, is stuck into the wall of your uterus or that you are pregnant (Mirena puts you at higher risk for a tubal pregnancy).
Definately get it checked

im not sure if that is normal or not ive had mine since july and never had that happen actually i only have a period for like 3 days every 2 months if i were you i would call the dr...or maybe even get an appt...
