The exact meaning of life is that nothing is exact.... everything is mixed up.... it is good that way because we are not quite capable of dealing with absolutes in anything.

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.
So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.
To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

Life Is A Burning. This Is Why You Need Oxygen Just Like Fire Needs Air To Breath. After A While The Flame Gets Extinguished And Then You Die. Thats Why When You Breath Out You Breath Out Hot Air Containing Carbon ( Carbon Dioxide) The Same As Fire Gives Off Carbon When It Burns.

What life "means" to you is possibly quite different than what it means to me, that is, in specifics. So, there could be no "exact." I have a concept that ALL life lives to thrive. The disparity in what it takes to thrive is beyond definition. For me--I'm not sure how to begin. Listening to Handel's Faithful Shepherd while I drove today, wind blown blossoms like snowflakes, my feline friend "sleep murmuring" on the cushion behind me, the beautiful reinforcement of friends for a beloved friend's death on the first day of Spring, the "whistle" of red winged blackbirds at the lake, the laughs I get from wonderful people on Q&A who have senses of humour--oh heck. All my diversified "professions"--artist (painter) most of my life, psychologist, paralegal, writer, researcher of dreams. I think if you'd asked "What does life mean to you?" I'd have more appropriately answered. As a philosophical question, I really can't. Can anyone?

What does an eyeball look like to you? Remind you of a planet.....? How tall is a human? Is he not proportionate to the size of the planet? Therefore gravity, and the weight of a human? What does a molecule or atom look like? Some sort of galactic structure? Everything is similar to something else, everything is somehow connected to the rest. Where do I end and u begin? We ARe All One.
Like the heat and the flame, the ocean and the waves, the great emptiness of space and the compression of black holes. Everything is in balance. Time is only real to the persons existence.
We get all confused cause we identify with our thoughts.
If only we could use our brain to energise the body.....and unleash our infinite power....

The exact meaning: The condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally.
The implied meaning: Life has purpose, you must look inside yourself for or pray about what the purpose of your life is.

There can be no real meaning without the search and discovery of God, the Creator and his purpose for you. The natural world and indeed, our own body and complex mind (with its self-awareness) testifies to His Godship. We are endowed with the capability to dig for the treasure of Truth. If a benevolent creator made us with this very potential then logic dictates He has provided us with the where with all to discover and learn of Him and His insruction for us.
Accordingly, He would not make it so absract as to be "out of reach" for the mainstream. This would only open the way for charlitons to "fill in the blanks".

Most people have asked these questions. We want to understand the larger purpose and meaning of our lives. Without purpose, living day to day can become tedious and empty.
Fortunately, there are answers to these questions—answers that can give you a sense of purpose and help you find lasting happiness. Answers such as:
* You are a child of God.
* Before you were born, you lived as a spirit with God, your Heavenly Father.
* You came to Earth to learn to be more like God.
* When your life on Earth is over, you can return to live with your Heavenly Father.
