Its hard to pick against the defending champion Florida Gators who have returned everyone from last years championship team and who have duplicated last season so far. Started off really hot - hit a rough spot for about 5-6 games - won the SEC tourney - bringing in success to the NCAA tourney. Now they have the experience obviously since they won it all last season. They definitely have the most talented squad and they have the chemistry, again obviously b/c they pulled through last season. They have the best inside game of any team left with Noah, Horford, Richards. They have the best outside game with Brewer, Green, and Humphrey. They have one of the best all around defenses. They have a great coach in Billy Donovan. No one else is really on the same radar. Now this doesnt make them a lock but it really gives them an edge. I dont see how you can go against a team who has already done it once and has returned everyone.

The only team i see that could challenge Florida is the North Carolina Tar Heels and that is b/c of their depth, prolific offense, great defense, the best athletes in college bball, and another great coach in Roy Williams. Hansbrough is the best player in the country outside of Kevin Durant, yes much much much much much better than Greg Oden and anyone else you want to name. Their only problem - a little to young. But they can overcome that if Roy Williams keeps their heads in the right place.

Texas A&M, Georgetown, and UCLA are my next 3 favorites. Kansas and Memphis are the final 2. Last Ohio St. has a OUTSIDE chance to win it, IMO.

Again, i still say the Florida Gators.

why did this guy above say kansas is going to win it...then he says UNC could compete with them, but they are too young??? Um, Kansas is just as young as UNC if not younger, so what exactly do you mean by that?

I think Kansas is the most talented team, but they almost have too much talent. They dont have a go to guy in the clutch, because they are all clutch! And they sometimes struggle to hit jumpshots when a team slows the pace of the game down. Look for the Salukis to give them a run for their money. That being said, I do think Kansas has been the most impressive so far.

I have Georgetown beating Florida in the title game. However, a team not too many people are talking about is Texas A&M. They are the best defensive team in the land and they have the best clutch player in Acie Law. If they can get past Georgetown in the final four, they will win the whole thing. Mark it down, interview your friends, and make a scrapbook! The winner of Gtown/Texas A&M will cut down the nets. Ohio State and UNC will not make the final four. On the other side, Florida walks into the final four, where they will meet the winner of UCLA/Kansas (i have UCLA because I think they will force Kansas into a slow defensive game and win).

I wish everybody would stop talking about all the 1 seeds. 1 or 2 of them will make the final four and thats it. That guy on espn keeps saying all of them will. Clark Kellog said that last year and not one made it.

Gtown or Texas A&M wins it. If not then it is the winner of Kansas/UCLA. I think UCLA would win the rematch with Florida. The point is it will not be UNC or Ohio State. You can bet on that.

Florida is way to cocky and think they can just turn it on and off at anytime they want! Now that it is getting down to the best teams in the country, they will try that and end up not being able to recover! If they played there game for 40 min and not just when they feel they have to, by far and away the are the best team in the country!
But with that said Kansas is a team on a mission and I don't think anyone can play with that team and there great defense! UNC is maybe the only one for two teams who could because of how deep they are and have 8-10 guys who can play quality min. but they are to young! Georgetown is another very tough team who could really play with Kansas but I think Bill Self has enough pieces to take it! And Self is a great coach as well

I suppose Georgetown will beat Ohio State. Oden shall be in foul hindrance all recreation. He's now not used to gambling towards anyone larger than him and no person on OSU can manage Jeff Green who will penetrate and get Oden in much more hindrance. (plus, Big East Teams have NEVER misplaced a country wide semifinal, besides while they've performed towards one more Big East workforce.) I'll select UCLA over Florida. It shall be near however the odds are commencing to stack up towards the Gators and the number one seeds. In the last, I'll take Georgetown over UCLA. The Hoyas control to manage the pace and out-bodily the Bruins who lose their moment last in a row. Georgetown returns to the highest after 1 / 4 century.

During the regular season I thought UNC was the best. If they play their best ball, I think they will win it. If they don't , it could be any of the teams. Kansas, Florida, OSU, Georgetown...they all have a shot.
