If I had my own home, yes, it would be. It is scientifically proven that you will go int a deeper dream state and therefore get a better nights sleep. I would refer to my own home as an "air-conditioned coffin". People should try to develop their nocturnal side and walk through their own home backwards and in the dark. Just looking for ways to assist the deaf, dumb, and blind. People "see" in different light spectrums---even with your eye lids closed and you looked up at the sun---you will see the color red. How do you think Helen Keller was taught?! Remember that light reflects better at night.

I leave the bathroom light on for my 3 year old and he has a night light in his room. When he stays at his grandma's it is totally dark here. So no and yes.

I always leave 1-2 lights on, and my bedroom closet light stays on with the door half open. I cannot fall asleep in complete darkness -- I've seen way to many horror movies!!!

Yes, but you must turn on a light if you want to get up in the night to go to the can, or you will trip over one or more of the dogs, that sleep in the hall, on the floor

All except the light from the microwave. And i get light from the street lights coming in about 4 different windows, i find this comforting.
