Alrighty.... the Titanic won because it was an amazing movie. The acting was top notch, I would know, I'm an actress, and the storyline was amazing. The roll Kate Winslet took on was difficult, for it was an immensely hard roll, but fit for her. The Titanic was an amazing story, and why you think it's a horrible movie, I don't know. Just spoken by Titanic Fanatic.

i know they won best picture for the scene with jack and rose "flying" but i dont know what else they won. i agree this movie was really good, leo and kate had really good chemistry and the story was beautiful.
