Will India lead the world in science, technology and infrastructure?

I think it already does lead the world in science and technology but China is closing the gap quickly.

In India, if you have the money...you spend it on your kid's education. Americans tend to spend their money on creature comforts like fancy cars, expensive vacations and big TVs and if they don't have it, they turn to credit.

From an infrastructure standpoint, India has a long way to go and it's all uphill. Then again, they're dealing with over a billion people. I have found that the smaller countries like Sweden, Germany and Canada etc. have an easier time with this aspect.

I don't know when India will lead but as of today even basic infrastructure is lacking, even in cities like mumbai and delhi, the roads and transport system is very bad. Science and technology is to be seen to be believed. Most govt. offices still do not have computers installed to make the work faster. Work is still at the same pace, that is slow.

Not in the near future. We are not able to build a good car engine, an aircraft, a fighter jet, a good Tank. We either copying or importing. With good planning and implemetation we can at least compete with the leaders, which needs vision, politcal will, clean administration and also our educated elite should stay in and work for India, not jump to the US in the first chance.

Duhh Kolkata. did not you watch Kahaani and Barfi??? i've got been there for trip trips. that is surely appealing. that's the city to be. the human beings are candy and real; they are knowledgeable; cultured; classic in some components; the nutrition tastes impressive. they have the final cakes interior the international, like sondesh and misti doi, raj bhoy, rasogolla, and that i don't rememmber the others. If I ever might desire to flow to India for existence, Kolkata is gonna be handle. i don't have 2nd recommendations on that.

sure,India has many talented people.they can do that.
India has pool of resources but proper utilization,proper plan is not their.
advise:Many talented people r working in other countries for the sake of more money.they r studing in india and they will go for abroad.In this way indian resources r wasting.plz send some of u r time to u r mother country,Life is not only the money but a humanity.

Maybe, after they've finished taking & copying all of the science, technology & infrastructure from the West.

It might not take long.. They and the chinese take up the majority of spots in our universities after all (In London anyways).

Indians have a habit of tomtoming achievement of a few. Think of Crores and Crores of people, who lack basic necessities of life. Let us concentrate to eradicate poverty.
