Well, obviously we would suggest the 9-cell primary and 9-cell additional Lithium Ion battery.

But that is only because we do not know what your focus is.

Is money not an issue? If not, go with the last one.

If it is an issue, then go for the 85Whr 9-cell for $40.

You need to think about how you will use your laptop. People who travel by air coast-to-coast (6 hrs) go for the higher capacity battery. Actually, if you'll be carrying it around a lot, you might not want all of the added weight. I would go for two primary 9-cells. 1 for a spare because it will die in about a year. And it's cheaper to get it with the original purchase.

Important point - if you get a "secondary battery" as your additional battery, you won't be able to use your CD/DVD drive at the same time because it fits in the drive's slot. Be sure you understand the difference when ordering.

The 9 cell Lithium battery lasts for a pretty long time, 5+ hours in an E1505, so is long enough for you, I would go with just that battery...

You could do some research and if you find a better price for the best battery for your laptop, order the laptop with the basic battery and order the better battery from the other source. This gives you a backup battery and saves some money.

Laptop batteries can even be refilled, I have had no problem with refilled batteries. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=refill+laptop+battery&btnG=Search

Make it a great day!
