What would you think if a person offered his/her left hand to shake hands with a person with a broken left arm in a cast?

Just a fun question.

This is fun. Left arm in a cast-shake with the normal, right hand.

You should offer the opposite hand if you intend to shake hands. But in the case of one friend I had, he had only one arm WITH a cast on. Trouble is we went to a football game & I made a mistake of high five'ing him and his cast. It hurt me more than it did him. But, I would say use your opposite hand to shake in the event of the other person having a cast on their right hand.

It is considered acceptable to shake with either hand in that situation.

I would expect that one or the other of them had no right hand.
