I really enjoyed this movie.
I wasn't a Pierce Brosnan fan and he really turned me off the bond series.
But Daniel Craig's acting aside (which i though portrayed a younger grittier Bond perfectly) i could just look at him for 2 hours and be satisfied.
I think Daniel Craig has reinvented and reinvigorated the Bond series - which can only be a good thing.

Daniel Craig and Eva Green were the best part of "Casino Royale". He's not as good as Pre-"Diamonds Are Forever" Sean Connery, but I put Craig at #2. C'mon, Brosnan and Moore were handsome guys, but your high school gym teacher could kick their *sses in a fight.
This is the new bad boy Bond, the Black Knight. He's going to go Mad Max in the next movie and I can't wait for the payback.

This is the third time Casino Royale was produced, and it was a welcome return to the original Ian Fleming story lines. What a shame he didn't write 100 books! (The second Casino Royale was the comedy with David Niven..the first was an American TV production with Barry Nelson as "Jimmy" Bond, an American spy pitted against Peter Lorre as LeChiffre.)

Have you seen the original? It was a comedy and very good and funny BUT I must say that though I have only seen previews I believe this might be one of the best Bond films in years.
I intend to get it on DVD and I NEVER buy movies.

James blonde. (sigh).
It was crap. I had to keep reminding myself it was a James Bond movie. Continuity was blown with M. No Q branch.
Yawn. What a snore.
(Great effects and stunts though... but that, to me, does not make a Bond movie)
