I need a new car soon, and i want a small suv. i live in michigan, so i need something reliable... i have been driving a geo metro for the past 10 yrs, and she's been VERY good to me, but she's getting old. My floorboards have been wet for ~7 months, my muffler system needs replacing every year, etc. I want something good on gas, 4 doors, auto windows, locks, air, minimum.
what do YOU recommend???

A Toyota Rav 4 or a Honda CRV. Both very reliable and with all the specifics you mentioned.

This one is awkward for me to answer cause I live in Australia. Over here, we have Toyota cars, do you have them there? If so, I very very highly recommend them, won't let you down, you'll never have any problems with them and they last for years and years, you can't break them.
By the way, i don't work for Toyota (cause that's what it sounds like), i just own one.

Get what you can afford, and include all the things like maintenance, insurance, and gas.
I really like the Saturn Vue
I have owned several SUV's and this is going to be my next car....or comprable from them.
