The uneducated are usually intolerant of others because they truely are "self-centered" as they have precious little knowledge to give them perspective. Tolerance is the acknowledgement that you are NOT the center of the universe, that you are NOT the only 'acceptable model', that you are as infallable as anyone else, but in different ways. Education is a great leveler. This is what we call tolerance.

Hmm, in my view i'd imagine it to recommend that the fantastic issue that we (everyone, i guess) can coach is tolerance. Tolerance being "a honest, purpose, and permissive mindset in the route of those whose reviews, practices, race, faith, nationality, and so on., variety from one's own; freedom from bigotry." Racism and different such hatred is born from lack of information and absence of suggested tolerance. to coach tolerance may help rid the international of any such undesirable philosophy a lot of human beings can't look to upward thrust above. i'd also see someone retaining the quote ability tolerance is the hardest idea to to coach. The quote implies that's the utmost form of teaching, we may assume which ability that's the hardest idea to charm to close. Does this recommend in undemanding words the best human beings are tolerant of others? that's a real philosopher, isn't it?

To me that means that the more you learn the more you realize that every person has different experiences and different views of the world. Each of us reacts to the others around us through our knowledge base. For example, a child who lives in Iraq will react very differently to the sound of a car backfiring than a child who lives on a farm in Idaho and a child who lives in the ghetto of Los Angeles. An Asian child has a very different view of teachers than an American child. A person from Switzerland and a person from Southern California define the word "mountain" differently.

If you apply this knowledge you begin to see that there is more than one way to do things; more than one way to react in situations; more than one way to view the world. Even more: you learn that each person is correct in his view because of his culture, upbringing, and experiences. When one begins to see this fact about hte world, he becomes less apt to judge others and more apt to try to understand why the person thinks that way. When we understand why people do things differently than we do, we are more tolerant of their differences from us.

So, the highest result of education is tolerance.
