I know several people who have gotten pregnant right after a D&C.

When I had to have a D&C, my husband's cousin asked the doctor she worked with about how long it could take to get pregnant. She was told that the body "remembers" what it was like to be pregnant and that it should be easier. It took me three years to get pregnant, I miscarried and had the D&C. Got pregnant a few months later, but miscarried without knowing why. (Possibly too soon?) Two months after that, when I wasn't supposed to be trying yet, I got knocked up. My daughter is now a year old.

After my miscarriage in August I had to have a D & C. We are yet to conceive (well this month is iffy as my HPTs have given mixed results but I feel a period coming on).

I've never actually heard that you'd be able to conceive quicker or easier, but I have heard that periods should have less cramps.

I didn't get that benefit either! :)

After my second miscarriage I had a d&c and 6 months later I was pregnant with my daughter who is now nearly 4 years old. My grandmother told me a d&c "cleans you out and getting pregnant is easier". It worked for me!

I've heard after d&c, you are more fertile for the next 3 months.I'm not sure if it's true.
