If they like to go out with the girls/guys. Do find that acceptable? How many times a week is that acceptable? How late would you feel comfortable letting them stay out with out calling them or what time do you think they should be home if you live together. If you show them nothing but love and are always trying to take them out or buy them nice things when you are together, would you feel comfortable letting the other person you live with stay out till the early morning and not worry about it?

It looks like the one doing all the giving is burning the other one out and maybe becoming to clingy - Sound's like both parties need to revaluate the relationship - Space is good - But this sound's like more needs to be said and done

I've been living with my fiance for over 3 years now. And i feel that if you trust you partner than you shouldn't feel the need to know exactly where there are. And i totally disagree with the bars close at 2 am answer above me. I just recently went out with friends to a party at my guy friends house (i'm a girl) and ended up staying there till the morning because my ride was drunk. I stayed up the whole time and watched movies. And i know i got mad when my finace accused me of doing something when i didn't.
It's also not about what you buy someone. If you say you show this person love then i'd say you need to show this person some trust. My exerience with this is i'm going to spend time with my friends if i want to, and if my b/f has a problem with that then i have a big problem with my b/f. If he can't trust me to go out for a night with my friends w/o getting into trouble or needing to check up on me that we have some major issues.
Thing is, if you trust the person you live with or are dating it doesn't matter if they go out all the time till late at night, if they are coming home to you, and you trust that they aren't cheating it shouldn't be a problem.

Aint nothing open after 2 but legs! Be home after the bar closes. I wouldnt "allow" my boyfriend to go out with girls. If girls were allowed, i should be there too, right? I think Once a week is more than sufficient BUT you cannot try to control what the other person does. You and She should come to an agreement about what the guidelines are, that would be teh mature thing to do. Good Luck!

THATS tuff because your not married. UNLESS you have some kind of agreement they can come+ go as they please. AND that sounds more like room mates not gf--bf/or husban and wife.
