Florida 'might' be the sexy answer, but come on, seriously.
Oakland might not have that great of talent compared to other NFL teams, but that's just it. Their team is composed of veterans mainly, who are stronger and faster than the college-level players, and the pro game is a faster and harder hitting game than college. Only a handful of those Gators are going to become NFL-calibur players as it is. Lastly, you think any team comprised of NFL players is going to let themselves be defeated by some upstart college guys? No way.
Though, if Aaron Brooks were still in Oakland, Florida might've made the contest pretty close.

As much as Oakland sucks at the NFL level and as much as Florida rocks at the NCAA level i'd have to say Oakland. The NFL is the cream of the crop from teh NCAA level, just because they suck doesn't mean that a bunch of college players would be better than them because all the members of the Oakland Raiders were top NCAA players before. You can't compare a good Pop Warner team with a terrible HS Varsity team. Oakland plays at a completely different level than Florida, you can't compare them.

Oakland Raiders.Florida Gators are a phenomenal team but placing them to play against the Oakland Raiders is unheard of. The NFL rules are very different than the NFL. The NFL has outstandingly complex defenses that will scare any college team.

Well....i dont quite get what "florida" is...so im just gonna presume that you mean the Gators.....
OK....first of all Oakland may be the worst team in the NFL and the Gators...the best in the NCAA but dont think that a college team could easily defeat an NFL team.....Why do you think rookies have such a hard time fitting in?....Even Reggie Bush who was supposed to be a huge star even in his rookie year still struggled.....So...considering all this...I'm gonna say that the Oakland Raiders would easily beat the Gators...No question about it....

Back in 2001, they asked the University of Miami (who were on their way to a national championship and a 12-0 season) players how they would do if they played the Cincinnati Bengals (who were on their way to an NFL-worst 3-13 season).
Many players, including Shockey and Dorsey, said that the Bengals would kill them simply because they were an NFL team running an NFL system with more seasoned athletes while the college players were still developing their physiques at a less professional level.
Keep in mind that despite the record of a bad NFL team, it goes up against NFL-caliber talent because the NFL sets the schedule for them. Whereas in Division IA collegiate football, teams can always schedule cupcake teams like Central Florida or Western Carolina to fill out their schedule. While Vanderbilt was always scheduled against Florida because it's an SEC team, Steve Spurrier used to joke that playing them was like having a bye week.
I'm a Gators fan, but let's be realistic here. Still, I don't doubt that it would be fun to watch!

If you are talking the University of Florida rather than one of the states two pro teams, I would have to pick the Raiders. You are talking apples and oranges when you play NFL and college ball. Only the very best college players make it to play in the NFL and the pro game is so much faster and the hits so much harder. To say Florida would be competitive against the Raiders or any pro team for that matter is a complete joke!

Oakland...duh
seriously a college football team has 1 or 2 stars on that team, and all NFL team's entire roster are filled with those stars from college, even if it is the Raiders.

the game would not be close, oakland would win... why would anyone go with florida, it is men vs. boys and the men have already proven they are the best of the best that college had to offer... a better question would be florida or a cfl team or a european team

Any NFL team is a made up of elite college players. Most of the Gators will never make it out of college. The Raiders, as bad as they may have been, would shred Florida.
