i went over my minutes, so if my phone is on but i dont answer do i continue to use my minutes>? i have nextel

No... you only use up minutes if u have an open connection to bother the caller and the "callee" so to speak. And if you're plan is like that... then u got ripped, cause no cell should be like that. If u think about it that wouldn't be fair.

no,if u dont answer it u dont use ur minutes ,if u look into ur messeges u use ur minutes.....but i had a problem ,be sure u make sure ur keys r locked or ur flip phone is closed cause if u hit a button while its in ur purse or pocket ,it might dial someone and u wont know about it till ur minutes r used up!

As other people have said, no, but also keep in mind if the person leaves a message and you and listen to it, that will count.
