I found out i was pregnant in Feb of 06, had a miscarriage in May, tha hospital i went to sent me hope w/no d/c. Had to have a surgical d/c in June/july. Got stuck on the depo while I was having my surgery. It was a three month thing, I didn't continue taking it. She put me on my old birthcontrol for about 4mths. The 4mth of taking it I had a period again. She switched it at the first of the year, To some 6mth no period, i took them home, but never took them! i wanted to let my body straighten up and my fiance and I want to try to have a baby, but I have been on my period for about two weeks. I don't want to go to the doctor and listen to her lecture about getting pregnant and not being married or not having the perfect jobs. We want to be happy and make our own decisions, now that we have decided, I can't get off my period. Any suggestions on increasing fertility, personal advice, personal experience, would help, Thanks!

I would first go to the doctor and just ask her why the bleeding has been happeneing for 2 weeks..

Tell your doctor it is your buisness when you have a baby and when you do not. She isnt there to give you personal advice on when your ready, however I would make sure your going to get married at some point!

Birthcontrol has messed up ALOT of womens systems. It forces your body to do something that it normally doesnt do. After being on it for a extended amount of time, your body can force itself to continue to do it because it is habit now. I would suggest staying away from it at all costs to get your body back to normal.. It takes some women years to get pregnant after being on BC... Good luck, and find out why your still bleeding, please!

First, if possible, I would switch docs, you dont need anybody telling you what you should or shouldnt do, and especially basing her advice on prehistoric idealisms. Other than that it's kinda of difficult to read your question accurately, but I'm gonna take a stab and say that "generally" it takes 6 months once you quit taking the pill to get pregnant, which it sounds like you are about there. I would wait until your cycle regulates itself (as most women ovulate between the 12th and 14th days of thier cycle which is counted from the first day of your period) and then begin trying again. I have been through this myself and I know how trying it is. I wish you all the best of luck.

So sorry you had to suffer a miscarrage.
My best advice: SWITCH DOCTORS. Maybe find a homeopathic healer to get away from the birth control pills and to regulate/balance your body.
Good Luck!
