If you are talking about information Security - infosec. And want to work toward the top level then start with your Bachelors in Computer Science.

Cheap compared to other college level programs... Here is the best part. You may still be able to find Service Grants to pay for Information Security degrees. Check government agencies, there were some that would pay for your tuition in return for you working for that agency for a period of time.

A Master in Science of Security Administration or A Master in Science of Criminal Justice. Bachelor of Science in Information Systesms.
It seems like you will need a degree in criminal justice, security administartaion, information systems, or something similar. They are all science degerees.

UTSA (Texas) has a NSA recognized degree. It is called Infrastructure Assurance and Security. It is an Information Systems major.
