"As You Turn To Go" by The 6ths

In my opinion, the greatest break up song ever.

A few more:

"Woke Up New" by The Mountain Goats
"Positively 4th Street" by Bob Dylan
"Yesterday" by The Beatles
"Fare Thee Well (Miss Carousel) by Townes Van Zandt

A few of these are "getting over you" or "I'm over you" type songs, but are all excellent!!

Better Things to Do (Terri Clark)
You Won't See Me Cry (Wilson Phillips)
Leave the Peices (The Wreckers)
Before He Cheats (Carrie Underwood)
Cry (Faith Hill)

Chris brown. never a right time. otherwise, listen to country. all the songs seem to be about something like that, and just plain depressing.

Depends on whether you're sad or happy about the breakup. If you're sad, can't beat "End of the Road" by Boyz II Men. If you're happy about it, probably something more along the lines of "Bye Bye Bye" by Nsync or "Survivor" by Destiny's Child. :)
