The tiger will win in one on one. It would have to be a caged match, the wolf would run off, they work in packs-which is how they could take the tiger.

One on one an amur tiger has no problem killing a wolf with just one swipe of their paws. Even a pack of wolves would find it difficult to take down a full grown tiger that can weigh over 600lbs.

hmmmm. simple math equation really. tiger who weighs several hundred pounds and can be as long as a compact car vs a wolf who is about the size of a medium size dog... not looking good for the puppy here folks. now if you wanted to pit a arctic wolf who gets to be about 7 to 8 feet long and weighs over 200 pounds I would say better fight, but still in favor of kitty. that is until we remeber that these wolves live in family units and hunt in groups so would probably never fight a tiger alone. now a pack of wolves would eat kitty in seconds, that is because they are very effective group hunters and also like to surround their prey and pull it apart from all sides at once.

500 pound compared to 125,maybe. Plus tigers can take down an animal 3 times it's size.

The tiger. Easily. Tigers are solitary and don't depend on any other tiger for their power, wolves depend on the pack interaction for their strengths to be at their best.
